Hi, I have done this for all of our users - we only have 44 so didn't take long but some users are still complaining of mail going into their Junk folder. I still haven't worked out how to do this for all users You can disable Junk Mail filtering for that user.

Then click on the the Block/Allow settings. Now i don't know if this is O365 (because my spam filter has allowed the email through) or if my spam filter has gave it a higher spam score (and not put it into it's own quarantine) and passed it onto O365 who have then marked it as spam and put into the users junk folder.įor an individual user, you can go into OWA, then in the Settings search for "block". When the inbound email hits O365 it is getting marked as spam/junk and going into the users Junk folder. Inbound Email > Spam filter > O365 > User Outlook. Gopal, I'm not talking about allowing all emails through our spam filter :) I'm talking about making all emails that DO get past our spam filter, go straight into the users mailboxes, instead of into the Junk folder. It is not wise thing putting a SPAM filter and allowing all mails. There must be misconfiguration and allows the score rate higher. Observe closely, how the legit email marked as SPAM in the filter. Yeah i don't want to bypass our spam filter as 93% of all emails to our domain is spam. The spam filter is doing its job 100%, it's something at O365 that's causing the issue, whether it's some settings i have/haven't set. The spam filter does generate a quarantine report but 99.99% of it is spam. Hello, The emails pass through the spam filter (otherwise they wouldn't appear in the Junk Folder) its when the emails reach O365 they are getting put straight into the junk email. However, that will mean getting a lot of spam :-( You can always bypass the spam filter by simply changing your MX record. Additionally, does your spam filter generate a quarantine report letting the users know what was blocked? Once you know the reason, you can take preventive measures so good messages won't go into spam. The third-party spam filter you're using should tell you the reason why messages are being blocked.
